WHAT IS A COOLING UNIT AND WHAT TYPES AND MANUFACTURERS ARE THERE?
The refrigeration unit is the heart of the reefer, and there are different manufacturers and models that have a certain performance and properties. Known manufacturers include Carrier Transicold, Thermo King, Daikin and Starcool.

WHAT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED IN THE CONNECTION / ELECTRICITY CONNECTION OF THE REEFER?
WHAT IS THE ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION / ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF A REEFER CONTAINER?
An exact number for the power consumption is hard to summarize because there are many different factors affecting the cooling unit such as the nature and condition of the stored goods (i.e. frozen or fresh), outside temperature as well as how often the container doors are opened and closed. Furthermore, the age and model of the cooling unit also play a role. In general, it can be assumed that newer models are more efficient and thus much more economical than models of the older generation.
HOW LOUD IS THE SOUND AND ACOUSTIC LEVEL OF A REEFER IN DB?
In general, it depends on the temperature and the type of machine being used.
Is salt considered environmentally friendly?
Yes – we only use salt that is at least 10% enviro-salt. This is good for longer lasting traction and will be gentle on decorative concrete.
